Education & Experience
Gabby completed her Bachelor’s degree in Human, Nutrition, Foods and Exercise from the Virginia Polytechnic and State Institute (Virginia Tech). She then continued on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, VA.
She completed a demanding certification program through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) to become a Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT) and is also a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT) through Myopain Seminars.
Gabby has experience treating a wide variety of orthopedic patients with a special interest in sports-specific physical therapy. Gabby believes in creating long-lasting patient/therapist relationships to achieve great outcomes and provide an excellent rehab experience.
She is a Baltimore native and grew up playing competitive soccer and lacrosse which guided her clinical interests in sports physical therapy. She still enjoys an active lifestyle including hiking, running, and bouldering, and has many years of experience as an indoor cycling and group fitness instructor. She continues to be a dedicated Virginia Tech Hokie fan and returns for football and basketball games every year.
